LSU coach Les Miles said in a press conference Wednesday he has yet to receive contact from Michigan, who fired its head coach, Rich Rodriguez, Wednesday.
“I have received no contact from Michigan,” Miles said. “I’m really here to speak about no other school.”
Miles spoke to the media in preparation for LSU’s game against Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl on Friday.
“I’m happy at LSU,” Miles said.
ESPN’s Joe Schad reported Wednesday morning Rodriguez was fired and was meeting with his staff. Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon is scheduled to hold a press conference at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.
