The LSU’s women’s swimming and diving teams will finish up its home schedule this weekend at the LSU Natatorium.
The No. 23 Lady Tigers will play host to Houston, Rice and Tulane, respectively.
The team has a chance at history. With a sweep this weekend, the Lady Tigers will notch the most wins in program history. Their current record, 10-4, marks the most wins since 1998-99.
Another staple of the program, Jane Trepp, will be critical to LSU’s success. Trepp is 7-0 this season in the 50-yard freestyle.
Trepp, along with senior Kennen Betzen, sophomores Amanda Kendall and Sara Haley and freshman Cari Blalock have provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships.
