Chris Johnson will get his chance to represent LSU in the NBA, according to Fanhouse.com.
The site reports the Portland Trail Blazers are calling up Johnson from the NBA Development League.
Johnson, a former four-year player for the Tigers, has impressed in the D-League with the Dakota Wizards.
The 6-foot-11-inch center averaged 17.2 points and 9.7 rebounds this season and finished second two weeks ago in the D-League dunk contest.
Johnson was a two-year starter at LSU, scoring 7.7 points and 7.2 rebounds a game as a senior during the 2008-09 season.
