Prison officials and investigating whether the Louisiana rapper “C-Murder” may have recorded an album in a Louisiana maximum-security prison.
C-Murder, whose real name is Corey Miller, was convicted of killing a teenager in 2009. Miller denies he killed 16-year-old Steve Thomas, and his appeal is pending before the Louisiana Supreme Court.
This isn’t Miller’s first rodeo. He recorded an album while in jail while serving time in 2005. Miller denied recording at Angola, but refused a polygraph test when investigators questioned him.
Manuel Ortiz, C-Murder’s manager, says Miller recorded the album in 2009 before his conviction.
