The Volunteers won the third and fourth sets at 26-24 and 25-20, respectively.
Freshman outside hitter Sydney Mukes finished the day with 14 kills and a .520 hitting percentage — both career-high numbers for Mukes.
Junior Kelly Quinn accounted for 20 of LSU’s 53 total digs, while sophomore Katie Kampen recorded 10 digs of her own.
Sophomore Olivia Beyer and junior Toni Rodriguez each recorded nine kills apiece at the end of the four sets played.
