LSU Veterans and Military Student Services celebrated Veterans Day with a National Roll Call Ceremony and moment of silence on the Parade Ground.
The Ceremony took place early Friday afternoon at the foot of the flag pole. Students, faculty and members of the public joined with Veterans to honor the names of those who have served our country.
A moment of silence was taken during the ceremony at 1 p.m. along with universities nationwide to honor our fallen military members.
The ceremony capped off the Veterans and Military Student Services’ “Old War Skule Week,” dedicated to veterans and those currently serving in all branches of the armed services.
