LSU’s volleyball team experienced its two match win streak disappear on Friday night in the Memorial Coliseum.
The Tigers (9-17, 4-11 Southeastern Conference) fell to No. 23 Kentucky in a three-set sweep.
The Wildcats (21-6, 14-2 SEC) fired a .339 match hitting percentage which propelled them to winning scores of 25-17, 25-18 and 25-22 in the three sets played.
Junior outside hitter Gina Tillis led the Tigers 15 kills and 10 digs, while freshmen Jacqui Armer and Sydney Mukes each led the team with a .500 attack percentage.
LSU finished with 14 errors and a team hitting percentage at .211.
LSU will travel to Knoxville, Tennessee, to take on the Volunteers at 3 p.m. Sunday at Thompson-Boling Arena.
