The report states the victim said the two were arguing and Godchaux “grabbed her by her hair and pulled her back away from the door” when she tried to leave through the front door.
His girlfriend also said he “grabbed her from behind by her right shoulder are and tossed backwards near the couch,” according to the report.
The report said the victim had a swollen lower lip and a slightly red mark near her throat, though she refused medical treatment. The affidavit also said Godchaux had cuts inside his mouth from his braces and appeared as though he had been struck in the mouth. He also refused treatment.
