LSU junior defensive tackle Davon Godchaux has been indefinitely suspended, spokesperson Michael Bonnette confirmed to The Daily Reveille.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s office booked Godchaux into jail at 5:10 a.m. on Monday for false imprisonment charges, according to a report by The Advocate.
Godchaux and the mother of his ten-month-old baby, is the victim in the case.
The 6-foot-4, 299-pound lineman was released from jail on Monday according to the report.
Godchaux, a three-year starter on the defensive line, has 20 tackles and two sacks this season.
