With pressure of a National Championship and a Heisman Trophy, LSU dropped the ball.
“We didn’t move the football like we are capable of,” head coach Les Miles said.
LSU was shutout in the first half. They got on the scoreboard in the third quarter when Tre’davious White returned an interception for a touchdown.
The defense also contributed to LSU’s second touchdown by recovering a fumble in Badger territory.
“The defense played their behinds off for four quarters,” Miles said.
LSU entered the fourth quarter with a 14-13 lead.
Wisconsin took the lead with a 48- yard field goal. LSU had a final chance for the win but a Brandon Harris interception sealed the victory for the Badgers.
The Tiger’s hope for an undefeated season was left on Lambeau Field.
LSU’s offense only had 14 first down’s throughout the whole game. Leonard Fournette also struggled and only managed 138 yards.
LSU has a chance to get in the win column next Saturday in their home opener against Jacksonville State.
