The 10th edition of Femme FM kicks off the show for the fall semester, and it’s gonna get louder than ever. This week’s playlist starts with some slow-burning tracks from King Woman and Advaeta, then rips into full girl-powered fury with Screaming Females and Priests. We also double-feature Carrie Brownstein and Janet Weiss with songs from both of their projects, WILD FLAG and Sleater-Kinney. There’s some Field Mouse in the mix, in anticipation of their upcoming New Orleans date on tour with Cymbals Eat Guitars, Femme FM favorite Girlpool after that, and lots more.
