Doe Paoro‘s music is a tale of her growth as an artist. From almost throwing in the towel to rediscovering music by working with the Tibetan Opera, Doe Paoro is filled with the ethereal sounds of soul, dub, pop. Her music is alive with experiences and inspirations of nature. Luckily for us, Doe Paoro sat down with KLSU to speak of her latest album After, an upcoming tour with GIVERS, and her world travels.
KLSU presents Doe Paoro tonight, January 21st, with Summer Fits and Ship of Fools. Show starts at 9:00.
Here is Doe Paoro’s in-studio perfromance. DISCLAIMER: this is a stripped down perfromance. It’s acoustic versions, and not Doe Paoro’s typical sound.

Under The Radar premiered Doe Paoro’s video for “The Wind” with animation by Jack Brown. Stereogum states that it ”stylizes humanity’s constant state of transformation. The song itself, a mostly instrumental epic that matches production by Justin Vernon with a beat by Supreme Cuts, makes for an impeccable soundtrack.”
Here is Doe Paoro covering Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”
Here is another acoustic Doe Paoro set with an early version of “Nostalgia” with Peter Moren (of Peter Bjorn and John).
