After redshirting in his freshman season at LSU, Diarse played in all 13 games in his redshirt freshman season with three starts. He caught 15 passes for 275 yards and three touchdowns in that season, including a career-long, 75-yard touchdown against Notre Dame in the 2014 Music City Bowl.
The Monroe, Louisiana made five starts this season but snagged just 13 balls for 137 yards with no touchdowns. Diarse, who had four catches for 45 yards against Texas Tech in Texas Bowl, became a starter after junior receiver Travin Dural injured his hamstring against Ole Miss.
Diarse was able to graduate early, which frees him to play immediately at a Football Bowl Subdivision school.
