The 5th edition of Femme FM goes off with a bang with Perfect Pussy, a hardcore band out of Syracuse fronted by Meredith Graves. The track Interference Fits is from their debut record Say Yes To Love, a work of ferocious vulnerability. From there we get into some “girl rock 101” with L7, plus Bratmobile covering The Runaways. We got some sunny surfy doo-wop, a couple of tracks from Broadcast, a British indie-electronic act fronted by the late Trish Keenan, then some tunes by Femme FM favorites, Girlpool and Angel Olsen.
