Vet School to hosts Equine Extravaganza
The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine will host the Equine Extravaganza March 2-3 at the Vet School and BREC Farr Park Horse Activity Center.
Equine trainers will teach seminars for the full two days.
Former Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association cowboy Craig Cameron along with Michelle Gibson, 1996 U.S. Olympic Team Dressage Bronze Medalist, will host riding clinics at BREC.
Children can participate in the riding clinics, as well as activities in equine anatomy, equine breeds and horsemanship.
On-site registration begins March 2 at 7:30 a.m. at LSU and BREC. Registration fee for adults is $40, for children nine to 15 years old is $20 and the fee for children eight and younger is $10.
