LSU PERFORMING ARTS SERIES — Open auditions are being held for a small company of dancers and actors to work with world-renowned, San Francisco-based performance artist Guillermo Gómez Pena. Auditions will be held at the Black Box Theatre Dec. 9 and 10 in Room 137 Coates Hall, Tower Drive, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Please prepare a one-minute movement piece.

TUTORING — The Genesis tutorial program offers free tutoring in math, science, economics and foreign languages. Tutoring is available Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Office of Multicultural Affairs, Room 332A LSU Union. LOUISIANA ARTISTS 2002: A MIXED MEDIA SHOW — It will run until Dec. 14. The show is free and open to the public. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. For more information, call 578-5117.
SCHOLARSHIP — Applications are available for the Tom Cruse Memorial Scholarship for full-time students who are in at least their third year of college. Applications are available in the College of Basic Sciences, Engineering, Design and the Math Department for students enrolled in these majors. Applications also are available in Student Aid in Room 208 Coates Hall. The application deadline is Jan. 31.
