After reading your article on SAVE and Vector Marketing I just wanted to write in and let you know a few things that were omitted.
First of all, Vector has been sued by the Arizona Attorney General in 1990, ordered by the state of Wisconsin not to deceive recruits in 1994, and sued yet again by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission in 1999.
Each time the agreed to stop their fraudulant recruiting. The 1999 suit was just 4 years ago and they even admitted to fraud, this was 9 years after they agreed with the Arizona Attorney General to stop.
I think it’s very important to point out their history of fraud when addressing the issue.
Secondly, although this is a little dated it is the best information available to show how uch the average Vector recruit really makes. the Wisconsin consumer protection dept surveyed 940 Vector recruits in 1992 and found that almost half either earned nothing or lost money working for Vector and workers in that state earned less than $3 a day on average selling cutlery for Vector.
I hope this prints because these are very important points that should have been included on a front page article about our organization. Thank you.
