Students can vote for the remaining Student Government candidates in today’s runoff elections.
Runoff candidates are vying for positions on the Athletic Council, University Court, senate positions for the College of Agriculture, the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Basic Sciences.
Amanda Callais, SG commissioner of elections, said full-time students can vote as long as they have a picture ID.
Callais said because there are two campus-wide positions up for grabs — University Court Justice and Athletic Council — voting for the runoff elections will take place at the same locations used for General Election voting.
Voting will last from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at several locations on campus.
Students can vote in the Quad, CEBA, Vet School, Design Building, Johnston Hall, Turead Hall, Choppin/Williams Hall and the Music and Dramatic Arts Building.
Runoff election results will be announced at 7:30 p.m. in 130 Howe-Russell.
In other news, recently-elected SG President Brad Golson and Vice President Jenny Byrd are seeking applicants for their executive staff.
Byrd said full-time University students who are not on probation for any reason can apply.
She said applicants do not need to be currently a part of SG.
Interested students can pick up applications either Tuesday or Friday in Room 324 in the Union.
