BATON ROUGE — LSU has moved its football game against Mississippi State next season to Sept. 25, senior associate athletic director Dan Radakovich announced on Tuesday.
The game, which will be played in Tiger Stadium, was originally scheduled to be played on Oct. 16.
The Tigers will now have an open date on Oct. 16.
Radakovich said the Tigers are still looking for an opponent to open the 2004 season against. The Tigers were originally scheduled to open next year against Virginia Tech in Baton Rouge, however that game has been pushed back to the 2007 season.
