LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell announced on Tuesday that he will not be returning to LSU for senior season and will declare for the NFL Draft.
Campbell has been projected as a top-10 pick in recent NFL mock drafts and will most likely be the first or second tackle picked in the entire draft.
The Monroe native collected a handful of accolades in his three seasons with the Tigers, including 2024 first-team preseason All-America, 2023 first-team All-SEC, 2022 true freshman All-America, and more.
Campbell was also the first offensive lineman in LSU history to receive the No. 7 and wore a patch for his sophomore and junior seasons.
In a heartfelt message via Instagram, he took time to thank coaches, teammates and fans for the love and appreciation during his time with the Tigers.
“To Tiger Nation, thank you for your love, support and unmatched traditions,” Campbell said. “Running out of the tunnel in Death Valley is something that can’t be explained. Thank you for being the best fans in the world.”
