A specter is haunting America: fascism. It may have taken 80 years, but the Nazis finally took control of the U.S.
Back in the 1940s, Americans killed Nazis for practicing their hateful ideologies. Instead, 77 million Americans voted for the guy with a Nazi as a right-hand man.
I’m going to quite frankly cut to the chase: Elon Musk is a Nazi. Not only did he do a “roman salute” twice behind the podium of the president, but he also supports the far-right “Alternative for Germany” (AfD) party in Germany. His Nazism is furthered when you realize he visited Auschwitz for PR points after being antisemitic on X.
Time is a flat circle, and history once again repeats itself. We can analyze 2024 and 2025 with the early 1930s and Adolf Hitler’s rise to power. The parallels are quite astonishing and worry me for the future of our free Republic.
To start with, both Musk and Hitler were immigrants from other countries before rising to power. Hitler was born in Austria, and Musk was born in South Africa. One of the stark differences between the two is that Musk was a nepotistic baby while Hitler grew up poor.
Continuing on with the parallels, Donald Trump is the Paul von Hindenburg of the modern era. He was the president before and has some sense of leadership, unlike Musk. Despite not being elected to office, Musk has taken office. Essentially, Trump has appointed Musk to an unelected position of power, like how Hindenburg appointed Hitler.
All these parallels, along with the fact that he supports the right-wing extremist party of Germany known as the AfD, a party known for being racist. The problems associated with the AfD are not commonly known amongst Americans, so imagine if Trump supporters were more extremist and racist.
All this is to say that Musk should be nowhere near a position of power. He is too volatile for one, and for two, he is an actual Nazi. I’ve seen people attempt to defend him, saying that he was just being awkward because he is autistic.
Just because someone is autistic does not make them impervious to criticism. Musk’s hateful rhetoric actively endangers others. His bigotry knows no bounds and is always spouting some sort of hate on the platform he lost $24 billion on.
The most vibrant of the red flags associated with Musk is the fact that self- proclaimed Neo-Nazis have come out of the woodwork on Musk’s platform, lauding his salute as a win for the Nazis. This is truly when I realized that the future of American democracy is at stake.
Musk needs to be far away from any position of power, the same way that a kleptomaniac shouldn’t be allowed to work for a bank, a Nazi shouldn’t have a position of power. The only place a Nazi belongs is six feet below the ground.
