As the LSU Tigers wrap up fall camp, the pressure is on as they prepare to take on the Florida State Seminoles in the Caesars Superdome.

Their first game on September 4 will set the tone for the 2022 season and show how the team performs under new head coach Brian Kelly. As he narrows down his starting lineup, he told the media the team is in good physical health and will shift its focus to Florida State this week.

The coaching staff kept a close eye on the team during fall camp giving each player a chance to prove himself.

When it comes to kicking, Special Teams Coordinator Brian Polian says he is most interested in consistency. This season, Polian hopes to be able to depend on his kickers’ abilities to make shorter field goals when it matters most.

Despite the competition between players for starting positions, the team has a tight bond, which only became stronger during fall camp. According to Linebacker Greg Penn III, each player brings something different to the field and is getting better every day.
