LSU Football Head Coach Brian Kelly spoke with the media Thursday evening about his offensive plan for Saturday’s game against New Mexico and freshmen offensive lineman who have stepped up and earned their starting positions.
Coach Kelly also announced that wide receiver Kayshon Boutte will not be playing on Saturday against New Mexico as he will be with his girlfriend who has given birth to their first baby Thursday.
In Boutte’s absence, Coach Kelly explained how the team will adapt, and which players will be key to the offense on Saturday.
“If your preparation is right, and your communication is consistent and you meet that standard, you put yourself in a good position to have success,” Kelly said.
The Tigers are coming off a strong SEC win against Mississippi State and Coach Kelly is confident the team can be consistent with their success this weekend.
