Baton Rouge, LA — LSU Gymnastics superstar Kailin Chio was named the Week 2 SEC Gymnast of the Week after her impressive performance in the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad.

Chio won the all-around, scoring a 39.600 against some of the best gymnasts in the country, including two-time Olympian Jordan Chiles.

She started with a 9.850 on bars, followed by a 9.900 on floor, a career-high 9.950 on beam and finished strong with a 9.900 on vault.

This performance is a great showcase of what fans can expect from Chio, as she seems to become the natural leader of the team after the departure of 10 gymnasts last year, including important leaders like Haleigh Bryant and Aleah Finnegan.
