LSU’s Digital Media Center will remain closed Tuesday after it was evacuated Monday due to “elevated CO2 levels,” an LSU spokesperson confirmed to the Reveille.

Multiple reports have indicated the issue is related to a faulty boiler.

In an emergency alert sent out to students Monday, LSU said its Environmental Health and Safety and Facility Services teams were onsite to deal with the issue.

LSU also urged students to avoid the area.

The Digital Media Center is near the corner of South Stadium Drive and East Parker Boulevard.
