A group of mostly LSU students were evicted from a rental property in Florida after throwing glass bottles from the balcony, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office posted the report on X (formally known as Twitter) and Facebook. As of Wednesday afternoon, the X post has 190,000 views and 1,100 likes. On Facebook, it has gained 5,300 likes and 1,100 comments.

According to the post, the incident happened just before 3 a.m. on Wednesday. Deputies were alerted after a security guard reported almost getting hit by a bottle during security checks.

Walton County officers found the road and driveway “covered with broken glass and empty alcoholic beverages.” However, no one in the house was over 21.

According to the arrest report, deputies arrested a 19-year-old with breach of the peace after admitting to throwing the bottles. It is unknown if the teen is an LSU student.

The arrested teen reportedly told officers, “I threw every one of those bottles, every single bit of trash you see out here on the road.”

The students were staying at 95 Wadleigh Way in Miramar Beach, Florida over spring break, which was rented by a parent of the group. After the incident, the property management company decided to evict the group.

“Let this be a friendly reminder: Hold That Tiger,” the post reads.
