As a KLSU Specialty DJ, you will be required to host a show with your own theme. List and describe at least two show ideas you have.

Specialty shows typically surround a certain genre or theme of music. Examples of shows are FemmeFM (female artists), Pangea (international music), and The Fuzz (60s garage/psych rock). Some previous shows that are available for revival are The Rusty Cage (metal, hard rock), The Degeneration (punk), industrial, shoegaze, and electronic shows. For more ideas on what is/isn't currently airing on KLSU, please refer to our website or socials. What will you bring to the table via music? What will you bring via talk breaks?

Are you able to work a complicated schedule?

Live talk shows show require workers to be at the station on assigned Sundays at times designated by the director. Early update slots require reporters to be at the station on assigned days as early as 7:20 a.m. For sports reporters, you will be asked to work games at nights.
