The No. 20 LSU men’s tennis team is set to take on PAC-12 opponent Stanford in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on May 10.
The Tigers (15-11) were bounced from the Southeastern Conference tournament in the first round, missing an opportunity to secure one of the 16 national seeds and the opportunity host the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament.
Stanford (12-11) is perhaps the most storied program in all of collegiate tennis, with 15 national titles since 1977. In an incredibly top-heavy conference, the Cardinal took on the top two teams in the country — UCLA and USC — a combined 5 times.
