With all this gloomy weather we’ve been having lately, I know I can’t be the only one longing for spring. Are you tired of clunky boots and boring sweaters? Use these tips to add a spring (pun intended) to your step.
-Try a dress.
No, I’m not crazy. Dresses look great during any season. Throw on a great dress with some tights and a leather jacket. If the weather warms up later in the day, you can take your jacket off to keep you from overheating.
-Cardigans are your best friend.
Not only can they provide an extra layer during cold mornings, they can also provide a much needed pop of color during the dreary winter months.
-Let accessories take the spotlight.
Add some pizzaz to your standard oversized sweater with a statement necklace or a fun scarf. A cool hat or funky gloves could provide some color and warmth.
-Try colored or printed jeans.
Wear some red jeans with a black and white striped sweater or some floral jeans with a lace top. Winter can be a great time to try new color combinations.
-Switch up your footwear.
Try slim, flat ankle boots or oxfords with your jeans instead of Uggs. They will be more flattering on your feet and they won’t be as difficult to clean.
