The season of gifting is upon us! And if you decided to avoid the crowds at the mall and confusing sales online this weekend, it’s time to start shopping. Did you know there’s one less shopping weekend this year between Thanksgiving and Christmas than there was last year? There are six less days. That doesn’t sound like a lot, but trust me, it is. Here are a few suggestions for that BFF in your life that is impossible to buy for.
1. Hyperbole and a Half Book: I am a HUGE fan of this blog. And Allie Brosh’s much anticipated first book is equally as fantastic.
2. Mood Earrings: We are the mood ring generation. This is such a fun, grownup interpretation!
3. Champagne Glasses: Everyone should own a set of these.
4. Sprinkles Cupcakes Mix: For the baker in your life.
5. Le Crueset French Press: A French Press coffee maker will change your life. And this one is gorgeous so it’s a no-brainer.
6. Fresh Roller-Ball Trio – Roller-Ball perfumes are perfect for throwing in your purse and Fresh makes the best day-time scents.
7. Jonathan Adler Day Planner – Writing down homework assignments is more fun when you’re putting them in such a cute planner.
8. Momofuku Milk Bar Cook Book – For the more advanced baker in your life. (Also, If you’re going to be in New York for Christmas, Momofuku NEEDS to be on your list.)
9. Frances Ha DVD – One of the best movies out this year. Perfect to watch with all your 20-something girl friends with a round of drive-through daiquiris.
10. Cowl Scarf – Cozy and beautiful
11. Black and White Beanies – They only made 100 of these, so it’s a unique gift to be sure.
12. Butter London Fire Duo – Maybe include a gift certificate for a mani/pedi.
13. Urban Decay Ocho Loco Eyeliner Set – I’m going to bring back colored eyeliner if it kills me. Don’t know which color you want to go with? Try them all!
14. Champagne Candle – Don’t you just love the rose gold container!?
15. Where’d You Go Bernadette – Best book I read all year. Buy a copy for yourself while you’re at it.
