Christian Coleman and Ashleigh Pichon are hoping to improve the experience of the LSU student body by running for the 2014 President and Vice President elections.
The Experience LSU campaign highlights the traditions and history of LSU, and strives to improve on communication between students of different majors and organizations. Coleman and Pichon want to connect the entire LSU community and make sure everyone has a great LSU experience.
Two of their major initiatives on their agenda are the Golden Ticket and UREC-On-The-Geaux. UREC-On-The-Geaux will bring sports equipment to the parade grounds for students to check out. The Golden Ticket initiative will give students that stay the entire football game an extra priority point.
Coleman is a business marketing major. He has served as Philanthropy Chair and Rush Chairman for Sigma Nu, part of the fundraising committee for the Greek Board of Directors, Director of Student Services and Diversity, an EMPOWER facilitator for the Greek Leadership Institute, a small group leader for STRIPES and was a member of the Programming, Support and Initiatives Fund at LSU.
Pichon is a human resources major. She has served as Junior Delegate for Delta Delta Delta, Philanthropy Director and Vice President of Administration for LSU’s panhellenic council, workshop and EMPOWER facilitator for the Leadership Institute, EMPOWER committee member for the Greek Board of Directors and was the UCFY President, Campaign Manager and the Executive Director for student government.
Elections will be held March 24, 2014.
