On Monday afternoon a tweet from comedian Bill Cosby’s official Twitter account called for followers to create memes using his image:

It was all downhill from there.
Over the years there have been several sexual assault allegations brought against Cosby that have largely been swept under the rug by his PR team. However, this hasn’t kept media outlets such as Salon and Slate from continuing to talk about the allegations with stories that spark discussions all over the Twitter.
