KLSU’s DJ Strangelove sits down with the cutest duo in pop music, HOLYCHILD, before they opened up for MØ at Spanish Moon that night, October 7, 2014. The pair mentioned eating rabbit gumbo in New Orleans while on tour, tighty whiteys, what brat pop is, girl power with roles of females in our culture and conforming to domestic expectations, a never finished live body street art collaboration, stick and poke tattoos, Nasty Gal, and the high and lows of touring.
Listen below and check out videos, pictures, and a few links discussed in the interview. BEWARE: there were some mic issues so the clip may be loud at times. I’m sorry for any speaker trouble, but enjoy!
