From his role as Emmett Cullen in Twilight to his role as Hercules in “The Legend of Hercules,” Kellan Lutz has played many characters in adventure and fantasy movies. In his recent film appearance, “The Legend of Hercules” ,it was a let down in his performance to say the least. The dark eeriness of the plot tries to draw the audience in, but because of the subpar acting and low quality of the film, it was definitely a disappointment. Movie makers try to mask the vague content by using chiseled, overexposed bodies, which was not a good incentive to become fully immersed in the movie. Hercules was betrayed by his stepfather and was sold into slavery. Hercules tries to fight his way back into the kingdom and has to restore peace. Kellan Lutz did well in movies like “Twilight” and “Stick It,” but in this movie I did not enjoy his performance. Action movie buffs can wait for this one to come out at Redbox.
