LSU will close its campus Wednesday, April 10 and move classes online due to forecasted severe weather.

Announced via an email to the LSU community Tuesday evening, faculty are expected to hold classes “remotely or in an asynchronous format” and communicate to students on any changes to class.

Residence halls will remain open, and dining halls will update students on meal availability throughout the day. 

This comes as LSU in an earlier email communicated its intent to stay open, despite cancellations by surrounding school districts.
