Clarinet Duos at the School of Music
Guest clarinetists Jeremy Reynolds of the University of Denver and Corey Mackey of Texan Christian University will be performing a set of duet clarinet works in the LSU Recital Hall. Admission is free, and the performance will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Beast in Black at Chelsea’s Live
Beast in Black, a heavy metal band based in Finland, will perform with synth-wave duo Dance with the Dead at Chelsea’s Live on 1010 Nicholson Drive. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased through chelseaslive.com.

Red Stick Farmer’s Market at the Main Library
Red Stick Farmer’s Market is continuing its recurring market at the Main Library on 7711 Goodwood Blvd from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Food artisans and local farmers will be on site selling their various products.
The Road Dance at Manship Theatre
Manship Theatre at the Shaw Center for the Arts on 100 Lafayette Street will be hosting a screening of “The Road Dance” at 7:30 p.m. “The Road Dance” chronicles the life of a young girl living in Scotland just before World War 2. Tickets can be purchased at manshiptheatre.org.

River City Jazz Master Series
This collaboration between the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge and River City Jazz Coalition will be kicking off its jazz master series. The Headhunters, a jazz fusion band, will take the stage at Manship Theatre on 100 Lafayette Street at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at manshiptheatre.org.
Open Mic Night at The Station
In collaboration with Delete Company, the Stations Sports Bar & Grill on 4608 Bennington Ave. will be hosting an open mic night. The long-running open mic show allows new and experienced comedians to make the audience laugh. Entry is free, and the show begins at 8 p.m.

Chris Botti at the River Center
Chris Botti, a Grammy-award-winning trumpeter, will be forming at the Raising Cane’s River Center. The show begins at 8 p.m., and tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster. The River Center has a clear bag policy in effect for all events.
Rock N Rowe at Perkins Rowe
Perkins Rowe’s fall series of live shows has returned to its location at 10202 Perkins Rowe. The Remnants, a Louisiana-based ‘60s tribute band, will be performing this week from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Town Square. Bringing lawn chairs/blankets is suggested. The event will be moved to The Great Hall in the event of rain.

The Helldorados at 13th Gate
13th Gate Haunted House is celebrating Friday the 13th with a performance by The Helldorados, a fusion metal band. The concert is free and will begin at 8 p.m. This event is located at 832 St. Philip Street.
House of Halloween Cult Classic Party

Corn Maze at Burden
LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden has brought back its annual corn maze experience. Register for one of three two-hour sessions any Saturday in October to travel through the corn maze, ride a hayride and explore the property. This event is located at 4560 Essen Lane. Stargazing at LASM
The Irene W. Pennington Planetarium at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum will be hosting its recurring stargazing shows. The interactive presentation features stars and constellations in the local nighttime sky. Tickets can be purchased at the door: $12 for adults and $10 for children.

Sunday Brunch & Football at Crowne Plaza
Crowne Plaza Executive Center at 4728 Constitution Avenue will be hosting Sunday brunch and a showing of this Sunday’s football games. Brunch is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the Patio Grille opens at 12 p.m. for all-day football. Note that you must be at least 21 to enter.
