The Bernie Moore Track Stadium, particularly the throwing circle, sustained damage from the heavy thunderstorms that rocked Baton Rouge on Monday.
Associate sports information director Will Stafford told The Daily Reveille via text message the throwing circle is currently “unusable” but will be ready for the LSU track and field teams’ next home meet.
The Tigers and Lady Tigers will host the LSU Invitational at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
