Another wave of wind, rain and thunder clouds descended upon Baton Rouge around 6 p.m. 
According to The Weather Channel, Baton Rouge residents should expect thunder storms until about 7 p.m with more storms to come through later tonight.
Energy company Entergy reports they have more than 57,000 customers without power  in the Baton Rouge area. The company lists estimated restoration times here.  
The University will be open for classes tomorrow, but students are advised to seek shelter indoors and to continue to monitor weather alerts.
