A Baton Rouge Police Department officer on motorcycle was involved in a crash on campus on Highland Road at around 2 p.m., confirmed BRPD spokesperson Cpl. Don Coppola, Jr.
Coppola said the officer sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
LSU Media Relations Director Ernie Ballard confirmed BRPD handled the response.
