This episode begins with Pam crying hysterically. Archer enters the kitchen to find her, but isn’t interested in her problems and maneuvers around her to make coffee, even having her hold his cup as he filled it with whipped cream and whiskey.
After a solid two minutes of this, he tries to find out what the problem is. Her sentences are incoherent at best, so Archer brings her back-to-reality by slapping her.
Pam explains that her sister, Edie, is getting married and asked her to be a bridesmaid instead of the maid of honor, and she’s also dateless. For whatever reason, Archer charmingly offers to attend the wedding.
As they’re leaving New York for Pam’s hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin, cyborg Barry or Other Barry makes his return and follows them from the airport with a plan to murder Archer.
For those who don’t remember, Barry is a former ODIN agent who’s been dropped off a rooftop twice and the KGB decided to turn him into a cyborg.
As Pam is getting ready, Edie comes to the motel room and the two erupt in a bloody brawl littered with insults and hate for each other.
Meanwhile at the office, Lana is trying to find a babysitter for AJ since Archer bailed on her. She first asks Malory, who declines because she’s leaving for a getaway with Ron, who’s back in her life for the time being.
She then asks Ray and Krieger, who also decline.
After the fight with her sister, Pam runs out of the room crying and is kidnapped by Barry and taken to a local grain farm.
Lana finally resorts to asking Cyril to watch AJ, who happily agrees. He even offers to get a motel room close to where Lana is going to be so if she gets worried, he and AJ won’t be far, which is weird for him.
Archer receives a phone call from Barry saying he has Pam. Determined to rescue her, he forces Edie to come with him and miss her own rehearsal dinner.
When they arrive, Pam is tied up using the same technique that Hannibal did on one of the guards in “The Silence of the Lambs.”
While she’s tied up, Barry focuses on trying to kill Archer and Edie. After beating Archer up, he begins choking Edie.
At this point Pam turns into the Incredible Hulk and breaks the ropes that have her tied and grabs the gun that Archer pointed out. She shoots him with explosive ammo and as the trio leaves they set the grain farm on fire.
On the ride back, Edie calls her fiancé to learn that he hooked up with the maid of honor while waiting for her to arrive at the rehearsal dinner — an act Edie deems is too much of a betrayal and calls off their wedding.
Pam is satisfied she ruined her sister’s life and everything is back to normal, or so it seems.
The ending scene flashes back to Barry emerging from the fire when he gets run over by police heading to the scene of the burning grain farm. Now, it’s almost certain he’s dead.
The lights from his cyborg eyes slowly go out and he’s lying in a peaceful field. A few seconds later, the lights flash back on and the show ends with him laughing maniacally.
