Radiosnack Ep. 12: Dubstep post 2010 (AKA around the time it came to the west)
So for a few years, dubstep stayed in the underground in the UK. It was deep, dark, and pumping. It created a following that spread it to the west (US and Canada) and we did what we do best with it. By that I mean we took it and made it something so huge and loud and over the top that it became popular in the lives of quite a few more people than anticipated. The sound nearly completely changed. Screeches, LFOs, measures full of drums, everything. It divided the genre in twain and last week, we delved into the second half of that division.
