Seven Tiger pitchers allowed 11 Horned Frog batters to reach base without a hit, and TCU ace Preston Morrison allowed only one run through seven innings.

LSU player to watch: freshman pitcher Alex Lange
While the offense will eventually need to arrive, the national Freshman Pitcher of the Year will need to continue his lights out season on the biggest stage he has seen thus far. Despite recording the no-decision in two of his last three outings since the regular season ended, Lange has notched 7, 12 and 11 strikeouts, respectively, in those outings, including a complete game shutout against UNCW in the Baton Rouge Regional.
Cal State-Fullerton player to watch: junior designated hitter Davi Olmedo-Barrera
With just a .265 team batting average, the Titans aren’t exactly know for offensive prowess, but Olmedo-Barrera brings pop and is threat to steal bases in the heart of their order. The first-team Big West Conference member leads the team in in runs, RBIs and stolen bases, and his 10 home runs are the same amount as the rest of the team has combined.
