“The Color Purple” will make its way to center stage at the Baton Rouge River Center 7:30 Wednesday and Thursday night as part of its third National Tour. Tickets prices for tonight’s production are $57.00 for Orchestra, $44.50 for Mezzanine and $32.00 for Balcony.
The Broadway musical is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Alice Walker and film by Steven Spielberg. It has developed an audience of all ages, earning eleven Tony Awards nominations and a Grammy Award nomination.
