2 p.m. — The Baton Rouge Fire Department and paramedics rushed outside the Design Building on Tuesday afternoon, after reports came in of an ill student.
According to a friend, landscape architecture graduate student Jia Li experienced stomach pain and nausea during class.
Li was carted out of the Design Building on a stretcher by paramedics around 2 p.m.
