A man cut his hand after struggling with another man who tried to steal his cell phone in the second floor Union bathroom, LSUPD said.
The man was approached by another man while in the bathroom, said LSUPD Spokesman Capt. Corey Lalonde. The suspect asked for the victim’s phone and when the victim refused, the suspect grabbed for it.
In the ensuing struggle, the victim cut his hand, though police were not sure on what the victim cut his hand.
The suspect is believed to be unarmed, Lalonde said.
