Ashley Berthelot, LSU spokesperson, said in an email the University closure will affect two critical deadlines for students — add and drop dates.
Berthelot said the new deadline for dropping a course without receiving a grade of “W” will be Aug. 30 at 4:30 p.m.
The new deadline for adding courses for credit and making section changes will be Aug. 31 at 4:30 p.m.
“If the University is closed for more than two days, similar adjustments will be made,” she said.
Berthelot said the University will release more information to students regarding additional academic calendar adjustments when it reopens.
