Women’s Basketball: Destini Hughes out for season

LSU senior guard Destini Hughes will miss the remainder of the season after tearing ligaments and the meniscus in her right knee in LSU’s 65-56 loss to No. 9 Tennessee on Thursday night.
The Fort Worth, Tex, native landed awkwardly while catching a cross-court inbounds pass near the end of the first half. Hughes was carted off the floor after the injury.
