LSU auditors are looking into whether former chancellor Sean O’Keefe exaggerated the amount of fundraising dollars he secured for the University during his tenure, according to The Associated Press.
LSU System spokesman Charles Zewe reportedly said the audit’s results could be released later in the week.
Interim chancellor William Jenkins officially assumed O’Keefe’s former post this past Friday after O’Keefe announced his resignation Jan. 16.
