Fans of the LSU’s sports program may be excited to learn the University is implementing a sports administration major. Several new classes have been created, and new faculty will be hired to teach them.Despite the University’s strong sports program, many obstacles remain before the new major can be put in place, said Kathy Hill, a kinesiology instructor who has led the program’s efforts for the past year and a half.The curriculum must go through several committees before it can be officially added to the University.—-Contact Ellen Zielinski at [email protected]
