The remnants of Tropical Depression Fay, once projected to bring up to 10 inches of rain to Baton Rouge today, is predicted to leave after delivering only two inches.Barry Keim, Louisiana State Climatologist, said most of the heavy rain patches have moved out of the area. “There’s a good chance we’ll get a little bit more [rain],” Keim said. “Certainly not like we experienced yesterday.”But another storm is already on the horizon. At 2 p.m. a tropical depression located south of Haiti gained strength and became Tropical Storm Gustav.Keim predicted it would be four to five days before Gustav enters the gulf.—-Contact Lindsey Meaux at [email protected]
